Shoura for Building National Consensus (Shoura BNC) is a non-governmental organization that was established by a woman and is managed by women. Founded in (2019) as a consultative body to enhance the participatory approach among the national stakeholders working on civic engagement, peace building, and enhancing women’s agenda to work towards achieving the U.N. sustainable development goals. As a civil society organization, Shoura BNC seeks to be a great player in achieving a positive change in the Jordanian context and globally. Partnerships and consensus building are considered the spirit of the work at Shoura BNC organization.
Shoura BNC´s specialization: consultations, capacity building & training, project management, as well as advocacy on: peace building (peace and security), participatory gender audit, local governance, public policies, position papers, building consensus, partnerships and coalitions, gender mainstreaming studies, study analysis, project designs, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), Theory of Change (drafting action plans and strategies), advocacy campaigns & public speaking, community mobilization, elections monitoring, facilitation, and reporting.
