Increasing the number of human rights activists.
Sahel aims to defend human rights, support education and social peace.
Sahel has implemented many training workshops for human right activists and civil societies organizations on human rights laws; international law; modern slavery; sexual harassment and human trafficking and exploitation. Sahel has also been working to support and build the capacity of government’s; civil societies and humans to better serve the community. In the Education sector; Sahel has secured education for more than 740 students from poor and fragile families; by cooperating with private schools to open free places for children of poor families. Also, Sahel supports poor children with educational materials (school bags; textbooks; some sessional classes to support weak students whose families are not able to homeschool them)
Sahel main sectors of interventions are: Human Rights, Education, Women, Youth and Community Building, Indigenous Peoples.
