Association of Egyptian Female Lawyers (AEFL Association, a URI Cooperation Circle) participated in the regional dialogue conference on Chartering a New Path to Women’s Political Participation in the Arab Region, Sept. 2023
AEFL Association along with a delegation from Egypt, including female parliamentarians and representatives from the National Women’s Council, in the Regional Dialogue Conference on Chartering a New Path to Women’s Political Participation in the Arab Region. This conference is organized by the Arab Women’s Organization, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
During the conference, Mr. Ahmed Tamam, representing the association, presented the experience of the Political Cadre School in enhancing the capacities of women leaders in Egyptian society for participation in political and civil life, including parliament, unions, and local governance.
The association is collaborating with the Egyptian delegation worked hard over three days to map out a roadmap for supporting women’s political participation in the coming period.
