Dialogue for Peace CC- Morocco conducted “The World Journey of Peace” on 21 Sept. 2018 to honor the International Day of Peace.
The world journey of peace began with an entertainment activity for less fortunate children from a poor neighborhood and children without parental care (animated by clowns). Drawing a large mural painting under the theme “peace in the world”. Then we continued our peace journey with environment protection activity; we cleaned the area. Afterward we conducted an animation workshop about the refugee immigration in North Africa by the High Commissioner for Refugees. The workshop was dedicated to refugees from diverse background to help them learn how to work together for the service of the community.
The end of the day was marked by a conference on peace education & coexistence between different faiths in Morocco led by several speakers from civil society and academia in order to understand each other.
