The program is dedicated to exchange ideas and best practices with organizations that sending and receiving international volunteers in Southern countries. I represented Desert Bloom and URI MENA this event.

SCI staff along with leaders of 7 organizations from SCI’s partners and contacts coming from the south countries; Cambodia, El Salvador, Bolivia, Mexico, Jordan, Palestine and Zimbabwe, spent a week networking and exchanging ideas and best practices in the field of international volunteer camps and partnership building. Also, we had chances to visit some successful NGOs and the Museum of Capitalism in Belgium.
I had the chance to introduce URI MENA and Desert Bloom to a group of Belgium potential volunteers who wish to volunteer in the Middle East. Many participants were impressed by the work of URI and its the positive impact on people, grassroots communities and environment across the globe
